More and more building control bodies (BCB) are now requesting evidence of extract fan flow testing.

As buildings are being built more airtight, the need for adequate ventilation has increased to reduce stale air, air borne pollutants causing possible damp issues. 

Approved document F requires all mechanical extraction fans in new dwellings to be flow tested.

This includes: cooker hoods, bathroom/cloakroom fans and utility rooms.
